This big swoopy horned red steer was purchased as a feeder steer but was very friendly and had a wonderful personality. He has a beautiful set of horns and has to be one of the first ones to greet you when you come into the pasture. He earned the name preacher because when he was a youngin’ he would drink and eat and always go down on his front knees and kneel. The first few days on halter he would always just kneel in protest, so he earned the name preacher when Dave was walking him one day because it always looked like he was praying.
